The Swim Run Race - Alcudia

The first in the series of Swim Run Races will finish in Alcudia, a beautiful historic town in the north of Mallorca. It is known for its well-preserved medieval city walls, charming, cobbled streets and lively markets. The old town is car-free and has several charming squares and many cozy terraces. During The Swim Run Race the participants will run a part over these historic city walls. The course also passes the Roman ruins of Pollentia, the former capital of Mallorca in Roman times. There are three distances this event.

The Short Distance of 7.5 kilometers where the participants will run 6 km which will be alternated with five swims. In total, 1500 meters will be swum this Sprint Distance. Despite the relatively short distance, it is a challenging course alternating with off-road runs, spectacular cliff jumps, heavenly spots with crystal clear water and a series of fabulous views. For anyone with a basic level of fitness, this distance is doable and a wonderful experience.

The Middle Distance is 14 kilometers where you run 12 kilometers in total, alternating with a total of 2100 meters of swimming. Are you in good shape and do you love trails, running and swimming and do you also find it exciting to jump from 4-meter-high rocks into the sea and enjoy all the beauty that the clear sea water shows you when you swim with your head under water; then this Middle Distance is really something for you!

The Long Distance is for the well-trained athletes who like a good challenge because the course is 26 kilometers long, has more than 300 meters of elevation, a total of 3700 meters of swimming and a bit over 22 kilometers of running. Suffering and enjoying at the same time is really possible and will certainly happen to you with this distance. Expect beautiful swimming parts through, for example, the harbor of Puerto de Alcudia. A challenging trail run with more than 300 high meters but a view that makes up for everything. Of course, also here that spectacular cliff-jump into crystal clear sea water and the last part of your race that goes over the historic city wall of Alcudia. A unique experience and a finish that you will not soon forget.
